Local Vine star, Brandon Towery, is set to air on the MTV show, Ridiculousness, on Tuesday, September 27th. The show is airing three new episodes that night, with the first one beginning at 9:00 PM Central. Ridiculousness will be showing his famous drop-kicking vines.
Towery died unexpectedly on February 15, 2016 due to a blood clot passing through his heart.
“He was somebody that could bring everyone together,” Dillon McConney, a friend of Towery’s said, “It didn’t matter what you were into or who you hung out with. He just drew everyone together.”
Brandon Towery’s death hurt the whole community. He touched people’s lives without even knowing it and always made people laugh. Twitter blew up after news of his passing, and people still continue to share their memories of him to this day.
One person Towery touched was Ron Baker, a Scott City, Kansas native that played basketball at Wichita State before moving on to the NBA.

Another person Towery touched was Drew Kingsburry, a student at Fort Hays State University.
The MTV show contacted Brandon’s mother, Charlotte Towery, in July to get permission to air his videos.
“It was a bitter-sweet moment for me. I was happy that they called and wanted him on there, but was sad that he wasn’t here to experience it himself. He would always tell me ‘One of these day’s I’ll be on Ridiculousness'” Charlotte said.
These are the two vines that will air on Ridiculousness on September 27th.
We have partnered up with Sip ‘N Spin Bar and Grill to do a watch party for the Brandon Towery Ridiculousness episode. It will be on Tuesday, September 27th. The first episode begins at 9:00 PM so get there early. Everybody is invited.
